Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 3 PM @ Ripley-Grier Studios, 131 West 72nd Street, NYC.
Program Includes:
- Exposure to Professionals in the Fields of: Stage Combat, Voice Overs, Dancing, Singing, Sketch Comedy, Improv, Audition Monologues, and On Camera TV and Film Acting, etc.
- Trips to See Current Broadway Musicals and/or Drama.
- Business End of Show Biz: Pics/Resumes, Classes Taught By Casting Directors, And More!!
- Creative Drama 4-8 year olds: All of the above plus Arts and Crafts, Theatre Games, Pantomime
- Every Thursday there will be an open classroom recital for family and friends.
The Children’s Acting Academy invites young performers to take part in its Summer Intensive Theater Program, an introduction to the professional theater world. Professional guest artists lead classes in acting, improvisation, movement, voice-overs, wardrobe, makeup and hair, TV, auditioning techniques, stage combat, singing, dancing and more. Meetings with “the pros” in theater, broadcasting, TV and film provide the students with real life, hands-on experience in the performing arts.

$595 per week of NYC Day Camp & second week $200 off

NEW! CABARET WEEK, WEEK TBD. Monday – Friday. 10 AM-2 PM. Show Friday Night. Price: $395.00
The campers will work with mics. We will help them decide on costumes/style. The campers will decide on cabaret theme. They will choose their own solos, duets, trios, group numbers to perform. They will be working with Mitch Raftery, our musical director, for singing coaching. He is an expert at putting cabarets together.

We accept ALL credit cards payable through our online payment module. Please select “Summer Camp” at the very bottom and then select the ‘cart’ icon to submit payment.
Once a deposit has been made, with or without a sign up sheet, your child is still obligated to the session. Even if your child does not attend the session, you are still expect to complete the full payment.
